I was raised in France and went to L’Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts to become an architect. I grew up facing the ocean. Staring at the horizon gave me a sense of adventure. I wanted to know what I could do on the other side the horizon. So after completing my degree, I moved to San Francisco to expand my design knowledge. Then in 1980, I moved to New York where I have been working and living ever since. In New York, I embarked on a journey to become an international creative director for Y&R. I ran the creative group in Paris for three years before coming back to the Y&R headquarters in Manhattan. I learned about international branding and found myself with a broader, global cultural understanding.

I have been designing contemporary furniture since the beginning. Architecture and design are my passion in life. This is my first love: design. I’m proud of the work that I do. I design furniture for the way I believe people want to live, in a modern, stylish and uncomplicated atmosphere.
